Pernilla Blomkvist is the daughter of Mikael Blomkvist and Monica Abrahamson.
Biography[]
She's a little older than Harriet was at the time she disappeared. Pernilla seems to love her father, but doesn't see him very often. Without her Biblical knowledge, Blomkvist and Salander might never have cracked the case of Harriet Vanger- Pernilla recognizes that the numbers next to the names in Harriet's date book as a series of verses from the book of Leviticus.
The Girl in the Spider's Web[]
Pernilla calls her father to tell him that she has enrolled in a writing course and that she now works in a bar. Mikael isn't thrilled about it, because Pernilla has been going from one thing to another for years and never gets anything done. When Pernilla finds out about her father's latest big scoop she sends him a text to congratulate him, which Mikael is happy about.
